Specializing in experiential marketing and themed environments, Kelsey Woods brings stories to life through spatial, graphic, and narrative design. Her research-driven approach begins with mind maps, mood boards, and deep dives into lore to incorporate hidden Easter eggs that enhance storytelling.
Currently completing her fourth year in Experiential Design at Sheridan College, Kelsey also works as a Junior Creative Strategist at ASTOUND, contributing to a wide range of client projects, from large-scale branded activations to immersive pop-ups and tradeshow booths. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, she conducts research, develops journey flows, and creates pitch decks that integrate visual, spatial, and storytelling elements into compelling experiences.
Her path into experiential design was unconventional but driven by determination. After visiting The Happy Place exhibit in 2018, Kelsey was inspired to create large-scale, memorable installations. This passion led her to complete an Art & Design Foundations certificate before pursuing experiential design. Her Sociology background helps her craft experiences that resonate with audiences on a deeper level.
When not designing, Kelsey can be found immersed in stories, whether through movies, novels, or theme park adventures.
The exact moment I turned to my friend and said “I want to build one of these,” fast forward to now… and I do!
